I am very optimistic and excited about the future of intimate relationships.

Why? My optimism is based on the thousands of couples I have saved from divorce and tens of thousands I have helped, as well as my own long lasting marriage.  What I share with you in this book are the same exact things I that I have done that has made my own marriage wildly satisfying and sexy for the past 30 years as well as thousands of couples in my office, in workshops and over Skype.

Our primary motivation as human beings is survival.  We have learned to protect ourselves; not so much any more from physical harm, but instead from psychological harm.  We protect our more vulnerable areas (i.e.- the parts of ourselves that are fearful, insecure, wounded) in a myriad of ways.
